One of the main concerns of the educational work in Kolpinghaus Mannheim is to encourage young people to take an active and meaningful recreation. For this purpose, recreational educational offerings are made with and for young people.

In the youth hostel we have a wireless network, Hotsplots and a lounge with TV. On the ground floor and basement are more community facilities available
